From left to right: Resonant Bodies #4 (variation #1), Resonant Bodies #8, Aural Fields #3, and Resonant Bodies #1 (variation #1). These works were part of Gil’s solo exhibition at Contrast Gallery in Tokyo, Japan. Gil personally measured the gallery space to build a 1:1 scale 3D model, which he then used to create a full mock-up of the show in his studio in Tokamachi, Niigata. This process allowed him to anticipate technical challenges and plan installation strategies. The completed exhibition was transported from Tokamachi to Tokyo in three trucks, carrying modular walls, artworks, construction tools, and A/V equipment. The solo exhibition took place at Contrast Gallery in March 2024.
